Nina-Sophia holds a UCL literature degree, and has a background working in art acquisition. After spending time as a freelance journalist, she moved into digital publishing as Columnist and Fashion Editor for Vinyl Magazine, after which she founded Londnr Magazine in 2015.
Londnr Magazine is a digital and print publication. Nina-Sophia remains at the helm of Londnr, creating and curating original content. Her skills lie in commissioning compelling material, writing thought-provoking interviews and articles, as well as building a fully engaged audience, both on and offline.
Londnr’s content is tailor-made discerning journalism covering a breath of topics in the capital, with an emphasis on supporting the creative industries. In 2016 Nina-Sophia launched Londnr Events aiming to arm writers with industry advice. Through Londnr Events, Nina-Sophia has partnered and worked with the BBC Writers’ Room, Waterstones, The Fashion & Textile Museum, Spread the Word, and featured speakers from Vanity Fair UK, HARRODS Magazine, Curtis Brown and University of the Arts London.
Nina-Sophia also runs a Photographer in Residence programme for Londnr Magazine, providing exposure for young or emerging talent.
In 2016, Nina-Sophia won The Hospital Club Top 100 ‘Rising Star’ award, which celebrates influential and innovative people working across Britain’s creative industries.
In 2017, Nina-Sophia was shortlisted for the Young Stationers’ Prize. She also sits on the committee for Society of Young Publishers as ‘Head of Partnerships & Special Projects’.
Nina-Sophia teaches Fashion Journalism at City Lit. and has written extensively for HARRODS Magazine, across six of their flagship titles. She currently writing her first novel.
